Murphy Christmas Lighting is a family-owned full time small business. Founded by Joey & Chelsea Murphy. It wouldn't be what it is without the great team that compiles MCL. Joseph Murphy

It's me, Joey, the owner of MCL! I started MCL with just an idea to give my family more adventures. As a former Firefighter/ Paramedic servicing the community, I saw a different side of being able to service the community. I fell in love with lighting. Lighting illuminates and attracts the eyes and the heart. With my love for technology, new ideas, growth, people, and freedom... I have grown it into what it is today. I find myself entering a new role everyday as I love to learn what can help us service our people and customers better. My nickname is the "Mad Scientist" as I must test everything, remake it, and always make it into its best version. I am detail oriented and drive high quality standards into all our projects, big or small. When I'm not deep into my lighting passion, my wife is probably taking me on a trip, I'm working out, maybe getting a new tattoo, or diving deep into my boy's newest hobbies.

Hi I'm Chelsea! I have been with MCL since the beginning, as I'm Mrs. Murphy. I am all things operational at MCL. That is anything to keep us moving quickly and efficiently from our teams to our customers. You have probably even heard my voice on the answering service or chatted with me randomly. I have over 18 years of customer service and team leading which helps me keep top value for our customers and teams. I have been married to Mr. Murphy over 10 years and we have two boys who we love to adventure with, we are always planning the next perfect trip. I love plants and you will find me in the off season lost in my garden, singing my favorite songs to my plants. I'm open, fun, and colorful. Anything new and expressive I'm all in... so your wildest ideas, count me in!

With all this together we will always find the perfect product for home from landscape lighting... to a lighting show. I love all our technology projects, big or small. When I'm not playing with lights, you can find me spoiling my three dogs, trying to land the newest shoes, or at the best food place in town.

I'm Don, the man of many hats, from my baseball hat to my Deputy Sheriff Cowboy Hat, to one of my favorites... area leader of Weatherford. Here at MCL, I service the Weatherford and surrounding areas with family care and commitment to my clients. Bringing "small town" hospitality is important to me, as I grew up and raise my two children with my talented wife around here. I'm very loyal, committed, and truly want to bring to life magical experiences, to all families. If I'm not hanging lights or wrapping the perfect tree, you can find me sneaking on a video game, taking my wife out for line dancing, or chasing my kids around the yard.
